MAX Pro is the first chart format from C-Map to provide a powerful and dynamic 3D display mode that provides informative above and below the water views of the chart data. Both full land elevation data and satellite imagery are integrated within MAX Pro to create a truly stunning "virtual earth" display that graphically illustrates the geographical nature of the coastline.
MAX Pro incorporates a wealth of value-added data, including; C-Map's renowned C-Marina port database, a global Tidal database, coastal roads and POIs, land elevation, aerial and satellite photos and a global Weather service.
Tidal Streams... MAX Pro users can overlay tidal flow
arrows directly on the chart display. The current direction
and strength can be seen for any given date and time.
Tidal data may also be animated over a selected date/time range.
Tidal Heights... provides prediction and display of high
and low water for thousands of points around the world,
denoted by tidal diamonds on MAX Pro charts. Advanced
calculation algorithms generate an easy-to-read tidal
prediction graph, also providing low and high water time
(24 hours), height, sunrise and sunset.
Photographs & Diagrams Picture content is a key feature of MAX Pro and provides the navigator an invaluable source of visual information about the area they will be navigating in. Aerial photos of marinas, Satellite/Aerial photo overlay and an ever increasing number of sea-level photos and diagrams of nav-aids and coastal features are included.
The MAX Pro seamless chart database is comprised of over 25,000 chart files, with special attention given to small ports and marinas, with relative facilities. New world background charts include improved marine data and general reference terrestrial data. MAX Pro is prepared for inclusion of various value-added databases.

MAX Pro chart collections will be sold in the same WIDE and MegaWIDE compositions
as C-Map MAX.

Flexible Purchase Options
Chart Purchase...provides a license for permanent access to a MAX Pro chart collection.
Any number of collections may be purchased and used simultaneously.
One-Time Updating...provides for a full update of any chart collection from the latest
MAX Pro database.
Annual Updating Subscription...provides for one year's access to the C-Map Real-Time
Updating Service (RTU) to receive Notices To Mariners via internet HTTP or e-mail.
Database updates, with new charts and revised chart editions, will be provided
over the subcription period.
Chart Rental... Map Pro chart collections may be rented on a four-monthly basis,
including access to the Real-Time Updating Service for this period.
